As we head into the homestretch of the Spring Semester, on the eve of our annual G-Day game and with Commencement ceremonies just one month away, we want to urge you to continue to remain vigilant against COVID-19. The virus remains a public health threat, and we cannot afford to let down our guard.

It is important that you continue to take the precautions that have served our campus community so well throughout the pandemic:

  • Wear your masks
  • Wash your hands
  • Practice social distancing
  • Avoid large gatherings where social distancing cannot be maintained

We need to hold each other accountable for our actions. While we are grateful that vaccines are more prevalent, we have not yet reached herd immunity. Please continue to make good decisions that keep both you and those around you safe. The University Health Center continues to provide surveillance testing and vaccine appointments for our faculty, staff and students.

We care deeply about your health and safety, and these last few weeks of the Spring Semester are critically important. Let’s continue to work together—as we have throughout the past year—to ensure that we finish strong.
